The 500-mark has been surpassed: Over 500 IHK vocational qualifications have been obtained by the participants of the CITT since the institute was founded in 2019. In 2024, several more were added. The top graduates of the current year were now honored for their achievements at the annual Awards ceremony. At the Continental site in Hamburg-Harburg, the CITT top graduates from all over Germany came together to be congratulated by the advisory board members Ariane Reinhart (Executive Board Member for Human Relations and Sustainability at Continental), Francesco Grioli (IGBCE), and Maike Bielfeldt (IHK Hannover) and to receive their certificates.
For some time now, the CITT's offerings have not only been aimed at Continental employees but also at employees of partner companies. Once again this year, a graduate was among the best who completed his training as an electronics technician for building and infrastructure systems as part of the skilled worker immigration project with Vonovia. This underscores once again the holistic approach that the CITT pursues in transformation beyond corporate boundaries.
The day's program was rounded off with a factory tour and a get-together with the opportunity for exchange and networking. We congratulate all graduates on their qualifications and wish them all the best for their professional future!
Following the Best Awards ceremony, the CITT Advisory Board held its regular meeting. The advisory board currently includes Christiane Benner (IG Metall, Chair of the Advisory Board), Maike Bielfeldt, Francesco Grioli, Prof. Dr. Friedrich Esser (Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training), Johannes Pfeiffer (Federal Employment Agency, Regional Directorate Lower Saxony-Bremen), Dr. Martin Kuhlmann (Sociological Research Institute Göttingen), as well as from Continental AG Dr. Ariane Reinhart (Member of the Executive Board Human Relations & Sustainability)
