CITT Advisory Board elects Christiane Benner as new Chairwoman

The First Chairwoman of IG Metall takes over from Francesco Grioli (Member of the Executive Board of IG BCE)

The CITT Advisory Board elected Christiane Benner as the new Chairperson at the Advisory Board meeting in Hanover. The First Chairwoman of IG Metall takes over the office from Francesco Grioli, member of the Executive Board of IG BCE, who will remain on the Advisory Board in the future.

Both Benner and Grioli have been active members of the CITT Advisory Board, which is made up of representatives from associations, politics and science, since its founding in 2021. The aim of the committee is to network important stakeholders with each other and to provide a communication platform for accompanying and discussing future-oriented transformation measures.

"The CITT Advisory Board is a successful example of good cooperation between the social partners. The next few years will be decisive in shaping the transformation in the interests of employees – for example, by creating new perspectives through further training, through qualification for digital jobs of the future. I look forward to accompanying this process in my new role as Chair of the Advisory Board of the CITT," said Benner on the occasion of the handover of the baton.

Dr. Ariane Reinhart, Executive Board Member for Human Resources and Sustainability at Continental and also a member of the Advisory Board from the very beginning, expressed her congratulations: “With Christiane Benner, we welcome an experienced transformation manager to head the CITT Advisory Board. I am pleased that she is available for this task and at the same time thank Francesco Grioli for his excellent work in recent years.”
