Industrial Electrician
Our partial qualifications follow a very practical approach, so that our modules each consist of at least 1/3 practical sessions in the CITT workshops and 2/3 virtual theory lessons via iPad (provided by CITT).
Contents
Achieve the IHK vocational qualification in 5 modules:
- Analyze, select, assemble, configure, measure and test electronic components (4 months)
- Create electronic circuits, test functions; install and configure IT systems (4 months).
- Installing electrical system components (3 months)
- Commissioning electrical engineering systems (3 months)
- Maintaining and tailoring electrical equipment (3 months)
Target audience
Production workers who have no vocational qualifications or who have not worked in their professional area for at least 4 years and have been away from learning for some time.
Entry requirements
- You are at least 25 years old.
- You do not have a professional qualification or have not worked in your profession for at least 4 years.
- You have basic German and math skills.
Duration
16 months full-time (37.5 hrs/ week) divided into 5 modules (3–4 months each) with vacation periods
Process
- The partial qualification as an industrial electrician divides the contents of the training course into 5 individual modules.
- Shortening the training period by 1/3 gives you the chance to obtain your vocational qualification within 16 months and receive an IHK certificate after each completed module.
- During the full-time training period (Mon-Fri; 37.5 hrs/ week), you will remain in your existing contract of employment and continue to receive your collective agreement wage.
