Basic Skills
Sometimes employees have not been part of a learning environment for some time or may even have had negative experiences in the past. That’s why CITT covers basic skills: these are to be understood as a preparatory module for a qualification-oriented measure such as a partial qualification or an intensive course. The basic skills course entails a 3-month full-time training period. Our goal is to reintroduce employees to learning and to avoid negative learning experiences.
Contents
The following contents are covered over the 3 months:
- Mathematical skills
- German for everyday working life
- IT skills
- Learning and working techniques
- Industry 4.0
- Digital factory
Target audience
Production workers who have no vocational qualifications or who have not worked in their professional area for at least 4 years and have been away from learning for some time.
In addition, you should be interested in training that culminates in a qualification.
Entry requirements
- You are at least 25 years old
- You do not have a professional qualification or have not worked in your professional area for at least 4 years.

Duration
3 months full-time (37.5 hrs/ week)
Process
- During the full-time training period (Mon-Fri; 37.5 hrs/ week), you will remain in your existing contract of employment and continue to receive your collective agreement wage.
- You will receive a complete teaching package with iPad.
- The iPad will be set up together at the beginning of training.
- Afterwards, you learn digitally from home via live lessons with our trainers and in exchange with other participants.
