About Us

The Continental Institute of Technology and Transformation (CITT)

The way we work is changing. Digitalization and Industry 4.0 are presenting the automotive industry in particular with a profound technological transformation that will have a particular impact on the working world of the future. Employees need perspectives to face the change and actively shape it. As a competence center for transformation, CITT accompanies employees on this path and supports them in expanding their individual employability through tailored programs and qualification opportunities. Whether semi-skilled, skilled, or academic: CITT focuses on all target groups. In addition, CITT designs and operates a modern, agile qualification infrastructure at many CITT locations. This includes training rooms, workshops, and TechSpaces on the topics of 3D printing, robotics, and augmented reality.

EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Focus on Modern Technologies and Methods

The digital transformation is accompanied by new tasks, job profiles, and training. CITT creates and provides qualifications in four areas that are tailored to your individual needs: Robotics, Virtual & Augmented Reality, 3D Printing, and Agile Methods & Digital Skills. Find out more here about what’s behind them and what opportunities CITT offers you to further your education in these fields.

Robotics

Robotics, control technology, and pneumatics are an important part of Industry 4.0 and automation.

In this area, CITT offers IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) certificate courses as well as various module components that are variable and individually adaptable – depending on the qualification level and specialization wishes of the participant.

Virtual & Augmented Reality

How can augmented and virtual reality be used as a promising technology? How can this technology be anchored in the everyday business of the future? These are the questions that drive us – our goal is to find the right answers and to offer the right training.

3D Printing

From prototype to series production: 3D objects can be integrated into the complete value chain. We want to expand the basics and application skills for our employees.

Agile Methods & Digital Competencies

The digital world is an innovative world. Agile methods such as design thinking and digital competencies are the basis for a company’s innovative strength and the mindset for technological change.

Training and Continuing Education for all Employees

CITT currently has around 40 training and further education programs for semi-skilled employees, skilled workers, and academics. The opportunities are divided into various areas. The overview provides more information about them.
